This is DANIEL
Daniel is a Hungarian-American by birth, who returned to Hungary and began working in the film industry immediately upon graduation from Rutgers Business School.
He has accumulated 20 years of industry experience in film producing and physical production with primary expertise ranging from line producing and budgeting to studio setup and management. He spent approximately a decade of his career at Hungary’s legendary Korda Studios, spanning several of the company’s milestones-–from its opening in 2006-2007, to the conceptual design of Korda Filmpark, to ultimately launching & managing the production services division, Korda Productions in 2016.
During his time at Korda, Daniel worked across projects such as Blade Runner 2049, in addition to Executive Producing Ransom Season 2. In 2015, he served as Director on the feature–length documentary film, Hungarian Kerítés, which took an in-depth behind the scenes look at the Hungarian Folk Revival Movement. In the 4 years since co-founding Hero Squared in 2018, he has earned executive producer, line producer and co-producer credits on nearly 20 additional titles.

This is jonathan
Jonathan is a long-time industry veteran, who spent more than a decade of his career at Focus Features’ international division, in both New York and LA. During his tenure, he oversaw Finance, Strategy, Business Development & Distribution for their library of content, including Academy Award-winning titles, such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Brokeback Mountain.
Shortly after exiting Focus Features, Jonathan moved to Budapest in 2015, offering services as a Producer and Consultant before founding Hero Squared in 2018. Since immigrating to Hungary, he has cemented himself as a key player at the center of Budapest’s film industry, delivering via Hero Squared over 65 million USD in foreign spend into the local industry.
Jonathan is a member of the European Film Academy and holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, with specializations in Entertainment, Media & Entrepreneurship.
